We are excited to open the registration for this year's Western Region and British Columbia United Association for Labor Educators UALE Gathering. This is the first time since the global pandemic that we will have a UALE gathering on the West coast. We hope you can join us for a weekend of in-person activities, programming and learning. Our theme is CARE- Creating Alliances for Resistance Education and what this means is a focus on popular education as the primary tool for education and resistance in our ever-changing world. We welcome seasoned facilitators, those beginning in labor education and anyone who is teaching that wants to learn engaging techniques for empowering students and union members. Hampton Inn in the former, at about $150 a night, single occupancy for September 13-15, is on the cheaper side, but there are other options.
