Hello, UALE friends — Joe Berry and I have been asked to help put together and facilitate a panel at the upcoming Labor Notes conference on the topic of “Vote No” campaigns in contract ratifications. We had previously written an article for them on this topic after the debate over the settlement in the U of CA strike a year ago. Our ask to everyone on this list is for examples, and preferably also contacts, that folks might have with situations where a vote no campaign has taken place, especially in the last 2 years (or since the last Labor Notes conference). All ideas much appreciated. Anything from the Midwest or even South especially appreciated.
