I'm looking for a good text book to use for an introductory class on labor
relations; college level 100 class.  Something that is comprehensive,
readable, current and suitable for a union friendly audience.  I'm familiar
with the text books by Sloane/Witney and John Budd.  Any other suggestions
and/or familiarity with this text:

Labor Relations: Development, Structure, Process - February 10, 2014 by
<http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=dp_byline_sr_book_1?ie=UTF8&field-author=John+F
ossum&search-alias=books&text=John+Fossum&sort=relevancerank> John Fossum

Also while I know there are many good ways of teaching an intro LER class
with other books, websites, articles etc.  I need a text book reference.

Thanks for any help on this.

Kathleen,

Take a look at the new text by Harry Katz, Alex Colvin and Tom Kochan, "Labor Relations in a Globalizing World"--

http://www.cornellpress.cornell.edu/book/?gcoi=80140100851860

Just published in January.
